This article examines the benefits of using scaffolding as a pedagogical approach in teaching listening comprehension skills. It discusses how scaffolding supports students' gradual development of listening skills by breaking down tasks into manageable steps, catering to individual learning needs, promoting active engagement and critical thinking, fostering confidence and language acquisition, and preparing students for real-world listening situations. The article emphasizes the importance of scaffolding in empowering students to become proficient and confident listeners in their target language.
