Abstract

This article presents scholarly information on the formation of industrial zones, which serve as key drivers of the economies of developed countries in global practice. It examines the introduction of foreign investment into the industrial zones of Navoi region through economic reforms implemented in Uzbekistan. In addition, the article highlights, based on academic sources, the establishment and current activities of the Navoi Free Industrial Zone, one of the first industrial zones in the Republic.
